Cet article est l\u2019introduction d\u2019un num\u00e9ro sp\u00e9cial qui comprend plusieurs articles, tous en <\/span>libre acc\u00e8s<\/span><\/a>. Nous attirons sp\u00e9cialement l\u2019attention des lecteurs sur l\u2019article de Dong <\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/span>Niu<\/span><\/strong><\/em> qui, en plus d\u2019un travail absolument impressionnant d\u2019exhaustivit\u00e9, pr\u00e9sente l\u2019originalit\u00e9 d\u2019analyser la situation de la tr\u00e8s importante communaut\u00e9 africaine dans la grande place commer\u00e7ante de <\/span>Ghangz<\/span>h<\/span>ou<\/span><\/strong><\/em> (<\/span>alias Canton<\/span><\/em><\/strong>, <\/span>une des cinq villes chinoises de plus de 20 MM d\u2019habitants, avec Shanghai, <\/span>Chongqin<\/span>, Hangzhou et <\/span>Beijin<\/span>) en termes de passage, et non en termes d\u2019immigration, avec des explications prenant en compte le droit chinois (national et local) des \u00e9trangers et les motivations et perspectives de ces communaut\u00e9s africaines. <\/span>Xiatangxi<\/span><\/strong><\/em>, <\/span>le quartier africain de <\/span>Ghan<\/span>g<\/span>zhou<\/span>, <\/span>compte <\/span>entre 200.000 et 220.000 <\/span>habitants<\/span> et est internationalement connu depuis la couverture m\u00e9diatique internationale massive des \u00e9meutes raciales de 2009 dans le <\/span>Chocolate<\/span> city<\/span>. \u00a0Cette ville <\/span>est au centre d\u2019une m\u00e9galopole comprenant plusieurs villes de plus de 5 MM, ainsi que Shenzhen<\/strong><\/em><\/span> (12 MM)<\/span>, la ville jumelle de Hong Kong<\/em><\/strong>, <\/span>sans compter le voisinage de Macao<\/em><\/strong><\/span>. On y parle davantage cantonais que <\/span>mandarin. Cette zone<\/span>, la <\/span>Rivi\u00e8re des perles<\/span><\/strong><\/em>, <\/span>poss\u00e8de<\/span> la tradition financi\u00e8re et \u00e9conomique la plus <\/span>intense et la plus <\/span>ancienne de chine<\/span>. C\u2019est depuis plus les VIII-IXe si\u00e8cles une <\/span>r\u00e9gion <\/span>particuli\u00e8rement cosmopolite\u00a0; <\/span>et, historiquement, Singapour<\/em><\/strong> est <\/span>consid\u00e9r\u00e9e<\/span>comme <\/span>sa projection <\/span>\u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
